Jharkhand government’s big announcement for those stranded in war-torn Ukraine

Ranchi: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren on Friday announced to reimburse ticket costs of all those hailing from this state but are stranded in Ukraine, where a full blown war is underway after Russia invaded the eastern European country earlier this week.

Announcing it on twitter, Soren said, “Considering the situation in Ukraine, Jharkhand government has decided to reimburse ticket cost of all those who belong to this state. Also, state government wants to assure its people that it is working in tandem with government of India to ensure safe return of our pepple.”

Jharkhand government also set up a control room and rolled about a dozen helpline numbers last night. The numbers include 0651-2481055/2480058/2480083/2482052/2481037/2481188 and 9470132591/9431336426/9431336398/9431336472/9431336432.
