Covid: Six hotspots identified in Dhanbad, intense testing kicks off
Dhanbad: Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) cell in Dhanbad on Sunday kicked off intense testing drive in covid-19 hotspots in about six pockets of coal town following directives from deputy commissioner Sandeep Singh.
The move is part of early tracking and testing to control the rapid surge in the fresh infections of covid-19, said officials.
On Saturday night, Dhanbad reported 113 cases of the total 1007 cases surfaced across the state in last 24 hours. Dhanbad is among the districts after Ranchi, East Singbhum, Bokaro, Koderma and few others which are seeing massive surge in cases since last few days.
“The intense testing drive is planned in CISF camp in Bhaura, Ozone plaza Bank More, Dhansar chowk, Railway officers colony, Jagjeevan nagar in Saraidhela and Kendua,” informed the official communiqué.
