Jharkhand language row: AJSU-P lawmakers meet Kovind

Ranchi/Delhi: AJSU-P lawmakers on Tuesday met with President Ramnath Kovid over the ongoing row over languages in the state recruitment exams in Jharkhand.

AJSU-P delegation led by its Giridih MP Chandra Prakash Chaudhary submitted their memorandum against the inclusion of Maghi, Bhojpuri and Angika in the list of district level exams in Bokaro and Dhanbad. 

The delegation has urged the government to also include kurmi in SC list in the state.
Other members who were part of the delegation included Jamshedpur MP from BJP Bidyut Baran Mahto, his Purulia (West Bengal) counterpart Jyotirmai Singh Mahto, Lambodar Mahto, AJSU MLA Lambodar Mahto among others.

The delegation also apprised President about the alleged corruption in Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.They also apprised Kovind about ‘ommission’ and commission by the constitutional authorities.
