Jharkhand: 86 stranded in Ukraine
Ranchi: As many as 86 persons from Jharkhand have so far been identified to be stranded in war-torn Ukraine. The state IPRD department on Saturday evening issued the data which it compiled based on the calls which came on its state control room since morning.
As per the data, 62 are male and 24 female, who are stuck in different parts of Ukraine. Among the districts, Ranchi (25), Sahebganj and Hazaribag has 11 each, East Singbhum & Bokaro 11 each and Garhwa (3), Godda (7), Latehar & Ramgarh two each, Khunti & Koderma one each etc.
Earlier in the day, chief minister Hemant Soren also announced to reimburse travel fare of those returning back to the state on their own.
On Friday night, state announced helpline numbers by setting a control room in Ranchi. The numbers include 0651-2481055/2480058/2480083/2482052/2481037/2481188 and 9470132591/9431336426/9431336398/9431336472/9431336432.
